Midsummer Memorial Service

Remember your loved ones at our Midsummer Memorial Service

The one-hour service in the crematorium’s Oak Hall is a chance for people to remember and pay their respects to those who mattered to them, and to pay a tribute if they wish. As part of the service, the names of people being remembered will be displayed on a television screen in the hall. 

Those attending will be invited to add those names or short messages to paper leaves, which will be hung on memorial trees inside the hall. At a later date, the leaves, which are infused with wildflower seeds, will be planted in the crematorium grounds where they will grow into a lasting wildflower display. 

The service will be followed by refreshments.

Places for the Midsummer Memorial service are limited and must be booked in advance
